She also helped her friends to do words and did them for fun.She practices sounds of the letters, specially sound of vowels when making each word.
Learning the vowels
Today Insha learn the five letters of the vowels. She sang the vowels song with teacher and by the end of the day she was able to sung it by herself.
"There are some letters I love to sing and vowels are there name o
a....e....i....o....u
a....e....i....o....u
a....e....i....o....u
and vowels are their name-o"
Its like the 'Bingo' song so they already know to sing. Singing the song makes her remember the vowels letters.
Today we made the vowel letters using colorful wires. She was really interested to work using the wires and was very good at shaping letters using it.
She even helped her friends, who found it hard to make the shapes. She was kind and helpful to everyone in the classroom.

After that she could read the rhyming words while looking at the pictures. At the end she was given the picture cards without words. She explored a new skill in learning words. That was phonics of 'sh' and 'ph' sounds.
She was given some words to identify the 'sh' and 'ph' words.
Later pictures with the words were given to fill the missing letters
Example: _ _ o n e ( p h o n e ), _ _ e l f ( s h e l f ).
She learnt to link the phonics with vowels and enjoyed making new words. Words like;
- S h i p

lifting light and heavy
tasting salty and sweet
Experimenting with objects was really motivating for Insha.
Next she was given cards of opposite words. She found it very interesting to find the opposite words. She was given the pictures with corresponding words and later the word cards were jumbled and given to match with opposite words.
