Learning the time

This week also children are still practicing learning the time. Like last week, today children are given

a puzzle to fix the write time and the clock. Insha was really enjoying her work, doing the puzzle very interestingly. Children were very happy that they got the chance to explore a puzzle today. She show different time cards to her friends in the group and tells them things like "I go to tuition at 5 o'clock". Others also join her with sharing their experiences.

Fun with the clock

Today Insha has learnt to work with clocks. She learnt the time using a clock. As the clocks were provided in groups to work, Insha found it really excited to work with her friends. Ayan was looking at Insha when she was saying 3 o'clock and moving the hands to show the appropriate time. They were taking turn, while using the clock. 

Insha even in cooperated her daily activities to time when working with the clock. She said to Ayan that she go to Quran class at 3 o'clock.

Today it can be clearly seen that she doesn't have problems in such social skills like: sharing or turn taking.

Subtraction

Learning subtraction is not easy for most of the students. To teach subtraction different materials and methods were used.
Insha also finds it hard to do subtraction. I did use a lot of methods to teach the concept of subtraction to her. At the end of the lesson she were able to complete tasks that was provided for her. But still I notice that she wasn't interested to do subtraction.
The only thing that could drive her attention was stringing the fruits to the rope. So she was given the fruits to practice subtracting.

Addition

Today in the math class Insha learn addition. She was provided with a lot of materials in different ways to practice counting and addition.
It turns out that addition is very easy for her. It is because of her interest in learning.
She loves to use markers, while writing numbers. when markers were provided to write the answers, She was very excited.

Numbers

Today, in the math class we learn first number, middle number and last number.
First we use objects to learn first, middle and last. Later, I gave them blocks with a number in it. She was able to finish all the tasks that was appointed to her.
